GlobalLogic, part of the Hitachi Group, announced the acquisition of Hexacta, a Latin American digital engineering and data processing company.
The acquisition is part of GlobalLogic’s strategy to expand its offerings and increase its exceptional engineering talent.
Hexacta, which has been in the market for more than 20 years, provides high-quality services in software development, IT consulting, UI/UX design and data analytics.
GlobalLogic emphasized that Hexacta is strategically located, which is ideal for clients in the Americas because of the temporal and cultural proximity.
Hexacta has 800 employees at 10 centers in Argentina, Colombia, Peru, the United States and Uruguay under the GlobalLogic umbrella.
Following the takeover, Hexacta will continue to operate with its existing management and staff as a wholly owned subsidiary of GlobalLogic.
The transaction is expected to close by the end of the first quarter of 2023.
GlobalLogic has several offices in Ukraine and is among the top Ukrainian IT developers.
